Haze ‘N’ Blaze x Okrug 31 is a limited-edition collab between Malta’s only homegrown rolling papers brand and the island’s most distinctive skate crew. One thousand packs. No restocks. No reruns. Once they’re gone, they’re gone.
The pack that looks like a board
When we sat down with the Okrug 31 crew to figure out what this collab should look like, we didn’t want something that just slapped two logos on a pack and called it a day.
We wanted it to feel like it came from the scene.
The concept came from Drew, the designer behind Haze ‘N’ Blaze. He’s the mind responsible for everything you see when you look at the brand — and for this collab, he took the visual language of skateboarding and made it roll.
That deep black, the raw graffiti lettering, the gritty street aesthetic you know from the top of every deck — that’s what drove the design. It’s immediately recognisable if you’ve ever pushed a board. It’s not just a pack of rolling papers. It’s a piece of the culture, built by two Maltese brands that grew up in it.
Two brands, one island
Okrug 31 isn’t your typical Maltese brand. The name comes from Ukrainian roots — “Округ” meaning district — and their logo is written in Cyrillic, giving them an identity that stands out immediately on an island where everything else looks the same. They brought that outsider energy to Malta’s skate scene and made it their own.
Haze ‘N’ Blaze is Malta’s only homegrown rolling papers brand. Different origins, same attitude — built outside the mainstream, on their own terms. When the two connected, a collab was inevitable.
